Since the incident described below happened I have had several packages delivered by DHL (printed circuit boards from China). They have all been delivered without a problem. Either the problem was a rare glitch or DHL has gotten its act together. Sometimes making noise helps. JM  8/20/2018

Dear Mr. Margolin,

I wanted to follow up with you again to confirm you received your package and that all was in good order. It was delivered today at 12:20.

Your experience was certainly not indicative of the high service standards our customers deserve and expect. I can assure you that we will review this matter internally to prevent these types of situations in the future. We always seek areas of opportunity to improve our customer experience and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Please let me know if I can be of any other assistance..

Best Regards,

To all of you at DHL:

According to Ms. Gutierrez’s message you were finally going to deliver my printed circuit boards to me on Tuesday November 28. She also said that I would be required to sign for it.

In the several previous deliveries I was not required to sign for them. I was not even required to be home. I was impressed with your company.

According to your Web site this morning (Monday, November 27) the shipment was in Reno and was with the delivery courier.

See attachment jm_dhl_2017_1127.pdf .

I stayed home all day even though I had other things to do.

And Guess What?

The package was not delivered. See attachment jm_dhl_2017_1127a.pdf .

You obviously have no intention of delivering the printed circuit boards to me, only fucking with me.

I really hate it when companies fuck with me so I am posting this on my Web site. (www.jmargolin.com)

So fuck you too.

Warmest Personal Regards,

Jed Margolin

Dear Jed Margolin,

I understand your situation and would like to apologize for the trouble that you have been through.

As per my system, this is being transferred to the service center and will be delivered on November 28th.

Just for you to know, deliveries in your area are typically made between 12:15 pm and 2:45 pm; however, shipments to businesses may be

delivered as late as 5:00 pm and residential deliveries may be completed much later. The estimated delivery window is not a guarantee of when

the courier will be making your delivery.

If there is no one present at the destination address to receive the shipment it will be returned to the DHL Service Center and the next delivery

attempt will be made on the next business day.

If by any chance you will not be available at the delivery address, you can leave a note on the door with your full name, tracking number and

signature, so the package can be left there.

Again, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

If you have any other doubt, please do not hesitate in contacting me back.

It's a pleasure to assist.

Remember you can always visit our website http://www.dhl-usa.com/en/express.html for further assistance, track your shipment or schedule a pickup.

Thank you for contacting DHL Express.

EXCELLENCE. SIMPLY DELIVERED.

Dear DHL,

This is regarding DHL Waybill 3306275011, printed circuit boards from ALLPCB in Hangzhou (Zhejiang Province), China. You have stated the tracking number as Tracking ID867673. However, your system does not recognize that as a valid tracking number. See attached file: jm_dhl_2017_1125-1.pdf .

> According to the system records, your shipment is under an

exam/detainment inspection. This can take from 30 to 90 days to process. At

this point, there is nothing needed. I apologize; this delay is not caused or

controlled by DHL.

This is outrageous. A delay of 30 to 90 days makes these Printed Circuit Boards useless to me. The purpose of one of the printed circuit boards is to demonstrate the technology taught by my U.S. Patent 9,625,179 System to Provide a Backchannel to an HVAC Thermostat. This will allow me to send it to companies evaluating my patent for the purpose of licensing it or buying it.

So yes, there is something needed, very badly needed. A real explanation.

1. If you are not doing this, then who is? And why?

2. Is this being done to all shipments from China or just from ALLPCB?

3. If this is being done to all shipments from ALLPCB, then why?

4. Or is this being done to just me? Who gave the order?

At the very least give me the name of the agency of the United States that is responsible for this. I will use the Freedom of Information Act to find these answers for an article I will write for my Web Site (www.jmargolin.com). If you want to know what I can do when U.S. agencies refuse to comply with the Freedom of Information Act see: http://www.jmargolin.com/nasa/nasa.htm . Or just Google these search terms with no quotes: nasa foia lawsuit .

If you refuse to cooperate fully with me then that will be the beginning focus of my article.

Regards,

Jed Margolin
