Re: Application of Cordevista

Dear Pat and Staff:

As legal counsel to the Storey County Planning Commission, we must advise you that until a determination is made by the Storey County Commissioners, no one employed by Storey County should be having conversations with any representative from Cordevista without legal counsel present, unless to answer simple factual questions such as whether Storey County has received certain documents. The reason behind this restriction is that the matter is currently pending before the Storey County  Planning Commission, after having hearings on the application.  The matter has not been decided by the Planning Commission and no communications from Storey County should be made without legal counsel present because we do not want any implication or inference as to how Storey County might decide this matter, as no decision has yet been reached.

We are providing this advice so as to protect Storey County in this process. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact our office.
